The LIQUID RUBY© Organic Pomegranate Juice is the love child of this iconic fruit and an excellent cultivation protocol developed at the THAVMASIO RODI company orchard in the Almyros district in Central Greece. In botanical terms the trees belong to the Wonderful variety of the species Punica Granatum, and are grown with scrupulous practices and loyal dedication to the organic farming principles in accordance with the provisions of the European legislation on Organic Farming.
The juice is cold-extracted from the pomegranate fruits which are grown according to a unique farming method, exclusively developed and practiced at the THAVMASIO RODI estate, blending traditional cultivation practices with innovative organic farming techniques, based on the utilization of the beneficial properties of specific microorganisms, most widely known by the generic name probiotics. In fact the juice comprises the quintessence of the pomegranate arils, which are scrutinously removed from the fruits through a multi-stage process before extracting the juice, so as to avoid the contamination of the juice with the peculiar taste so characteristic of the outer skin and the inner mesocarp and divider membranes rich in tannins. Compressing the arils with their high contents of polyphenols and rich variety of other antioxidants, yields a sweet-sour taste followed by a palette of discretely tempting aftertastes.
In order to preserve the full antioxidant potential of the juice and the values deriving from the employment of probiotics for its production, we use fresh freezing instead of pasteurization, which would undoubtedly deprive it from most of its rejuvenating qualities as well as its natural vitality and freshness. Our trust to the beneficial influence of probiotics in the production of this premium juice leads us to freezing as the best method of ensuring the preservation of its health enhancing ingredients. Keeping in mind the inherent difficulties entailed in the frozen products supply chain we can deliver, upon demand, our juice defrosted and undergone HPP (High Pressure Process), which is the state of the art in food safety procedures, in terms of providing safe foodstuff, easier to handle, while keeping the organoleptic properties at its best. Combining the virtues of the two processes, the consumer can enjoy this premium juice in its best possible version, that is next to fresh of course.
Needless to mention that the LIQUID RUBY© pomegranate juice comes as pure as possible, without any additives whatsoever, i.e. preservatives, sugars, colouring agents, etc. Under this light, this juice coming from such an adventurous and interesting journey might as well be considered as our “message in a bottle”.

CONSUMPTION GUIDELINES
Good stirring of the bottle prior to the consumption of the juice is recommended so that the content, consisting exclusively of the juicy part of the pomegranate arils, becomes thoroughly homogenized.
The juice, being alive and breathing, should be kept as fresh and free from exposure to atmospheric oxygen as possible after defrosting and unsealing the bottle, so that its full antioxidant potential is preserved. To this end the consumer is advised to reseal the bottle cap tightly after each consecutive opening, keep at temperatures below 5°C and consume the juice within a maximum period of 5 days.
